The new season of the Students and Graduates Pipeline Program has begun

In July, a new season of the Students and Graduates Pipeline Program (SGPP) – an internship and young talent development initiative – kicked off at CEMARK. The official launch took place on July 14 at the Kamyanets-Podilskyi Cement Plant, attended by company executives, functional managers, mentors, and program participants.

This year, seven new interns have joined the SGPP. Alongside them, seven other employees who recently joined CEMARK will also complete the educational component of the program. For them, this is an opportunity to gain deeper insight into the company’s production operations, corporate culture, and processes.

Over the course of nine months, participants will combine theoretical training with practical experience within various departments. The program covers cement production, quarry operations, raw materials, grinding, clinker burning, and quality control, as well as environmental management, logistics, procurement, finance, maintenance, leadership, and project management.

Each participant will have a mentor and an individual development plan; the program concludes with a personal project aimed at improving actual business processes or production activities.

Safety is a crucial component of the SGPP. Right from the start, participants undergo occupational health and safety training and are introduced to principles of safety leadership and responsible attitudes toward their own health and that of their colleagues. This approach aligns with CRH’s core value: "People are our Priority." During the kick-off event, participants also met company leaders and heard stories from colleagues who began their careers in operational or entry-level roles and now hold leadership positions at CEMARK.

SGPP combines practical experience, professional development, and mentorship, helping participants gain a better understanding of the company’s operations and define their own professional trajectories.
