CEMARK — a trusted partner in the restoration of Ukraine’s road infrastructure

About the project

In 2021, a project was launched to carry out major repairs to the M-14 Odessa – Melitopol – Novoazovsk (to Taganrog) public highway of national importance, on the section between km 126+000 and km 129+122 in the Mykolaiv region. Work was suspended following the introduction of martial law in Ukraine. However, despite all the difficulties, work resumed at the end of 2023.

In January 2025, the comprehensively renovated section of the M-14 Odessa–Melitopol–Novoazovsk national highway (km 126+000 – km 129+122, Mykolaiv Oblast) was put into operation. This strategic Category I road is a key transport corridor for freight traffic heading towards seaports.

As part of the project, a major overhaul of the cement-concrete surface covering a length of over 3 km was carried out, along with the reconstruction of an overpass, the installation of LED-based external lighting, a video surveillance system, an information display board and a Weigh-in-Motion (WIM) system.

The project was implemented by YEDBK LLC https://ercc.com.ua/projects/odesa-melitipol-126-129

CEMARK’s contribution

All concrete works were carried out using CEM I 42.5 R and A-M (S-LL) 42.5 R cement produced by the Odessa Cement Plant CEMARK (CEMENT LLC). The Odessa Cement Plant supplied 90% of the required cement.

The project was carried out under the challenging conditions of wartime, which highlights the importance of reliable partners who can provide a steady supply of high-quality materials.

CEMARK is proud of its contribution to the restoration of the country’s road infrastructure.
